The original version of this song is sung by Fleetwood Mac, but in case you'll like the Glee-version better, I put that in there as well. The song has a basic story, but I will leave it to you on how you'd like to see it. 'Cause that's what music is all about, making it matter for something that's truly yours to keep. Your understanding of a song isn't supposed to be the same as anyone else's. At least that's how I see it.

To make an example we can pull out "Someone Like You" by Adele. Does that song hold the same meaning to you as it did to her? She wrote it in anger and pain after a break-up. To me it's more about feeling something for someone who you never got to really be with. The pain that comes with that type of passion unattended, hurts like hell. So this is how we make a song matter to us, to help us cope and be okay with the situation. It's amazing really, how interpretations are so different. As they should be.
